Generating power with purpose
Our role in Ontario isn’t just measured by kilowatts (although we’re really good at producing them); it’s measured by our relationships, the impact we make and the future we leave to the next generation. That’s why we strive to be good corporate citizens who care about the environmental, economic, and social wellbeing of all Ontario.
Generating community spirit
OPG’s Corporate Citizenship Program focuses on these areas:
- Environment
- Education, and
- Community (health and safety, arts and culture, youth amateur sport, humanitarian and local causes), including support of Indigenous initiatives.
We are proud of our many community partnerships in Southwestern Ontario, which include the Bluewater Regional Science and Technology Fair, the Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority, Bird Studies Canada, the Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games, and Scientists in School among many others.
