Taking corrective or preventive action

Tracking and trending the events reported to the CNSC that occur in our nuclear facilities is just one way OPG identifies trends requiring corrective or preventive action.

Our Corrective Action Program ensures observations by our staff are captured, investigated and tracked for remediation.

While only representing a tiny fraction of all activities undertaken in a year, these Event Reports reinforce our commitment to generating safe, clean electricity for the betterment of Ontario.

Each report is thoroughly reviewed with appropriate OPG staff and our regulator to ensure they are addressed.
