Refurbishing Ontario’s timeless hydroelectric assets
Timeless, reliable, and clean, OPG’s hydroelectric facilities have served as the foundation for Ontario’s clean electricity system for more than a century. To secure decades more reliable generation from our largest hydro stations, OPG is now planning for a multi-year refurbishment of its Niagara hydro fleet and advancing refurbishment of its R.H. Saunders Generating Station.
