Saugeen Ojibway Nation community engagement Sessions
For more than a decade, Ontario Power Generation and Saugeen Ojibway Nation (SON) have engaged in respectful dialogue regarding nuclear waste management at the Bruce site on the eastern shore of Lake Huron.
To continue this dialogue, OPG is inviting all SON members to participate in a series of Community Engagement Sessions in 2019. Learn more about these scheduled sessions below.
About the sessions
These events are intended to help SON members make an informed decision on OPG’s proposed Deep Geologic Repository (DGR) for low- and intermediate-level nuclear waste.
SON members are invited to attend one of 20 sessions taking place at nine locations across Southern Ontario. You choose. No RSVP required.
For All Sessions:
- 5:30 p.m. — Social hour with food and refreshments
- 6:30 p.m. — OPG presentation with time for Questions & Answers
OPG will provide free food and refreshments including options for those with dietary restrictions (gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.). Please contact us if you have specific allergies or sensitivities.
