Darlington set to host not one, but four SMRs.
At our Darlington New Nuclear site, we are now preparing to build not just one SMR, but four – a first in the Western world. Once deployed, our world-leading SMR fleet will provide 1,200 megawatts of clean electricity to power about 1.2 million homes and support Ontario’s growth and electrification. Read the story.

The Darlington Refurbishment project achieved another major milestone as Unit 3 was reconnected to the provincial grid 169 days ahead of schedule, reflecting OPG’s commitment to thorough planning and quality work. The overall project remains on budget and on schedule. Read the story.
Redeveloped Calabogie station providing more clean power.
In eastern Ontario, OPG’s brand-new Calabogie Generating Station is now in service and providing more clean power for the province. The new station doubles the output of its predecessor, providing enough electricity to power about 10,000 homes. Read the story.
