A “massive” development for Darlington New Nuclear

At our Darlington site, we continue to work to prepare for North America’s first fleet of grid-scale SMRs. The busy summer has included a “massive” development as the site prepares for a large tunnel boring machine, expected to be delivered next year. Gold-level recognition for Indigenous relations

In recognition of OPG’s progress on Indigenous relations and Reconciliation, the company has once again been awarded the Gold Designation through the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business’ Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program. Sparking wonder for Indigenous youth

Twenty Indigenous students pulled on their protective gloves and donned helmets as they got a hands-on introduction to welding at the CWB Foundation's Mind Over Metal camp, sponsored by OPG through our Power for Change Project. Read more.

Generation in action

Using a sectional barge, workers recently dismantled the old tailrace deck at OPG's Sir Adam Beck I hydro station in Niagara Falls before constructing a new, wider deck and related upgrades. Read more.
