 Lac Seul First Nation

OPG and Lac Seul First Nation are partners in the Lac Seul/Obishikokaang Waasiganikewigamig Generating Station in Ear Falls in northwestern Ontario. The station started generating electricity in 2009. Both parties share in the revenue and risk associated with this station.

In the Ojibway language, Obishikokaang Waasiganikewigamig means the "White Pine Narrows Generating Station.” White Pine Narrows is the original Ojibway name for the area where the station is located.
