Ontario Power Generation provides many avenues to learn about our nuclear operations.
Our information services include the presence of two nuclear information centres in Durham Region – one located at each of our Pickering Nuclear and Darlington Nuclear stations. At our centres, visitors can learn about: how a nuclear plant works, our safety processes, how natural habitats flourish on our sites, how spent fuel is managed, the history of electricity in Ontario and much more.
The centres are staffed by knowledgeable information officers who can assist visitors with self-directed exhibits and they can provide information on specific topics of interest.
OPG offers printed materials on many aspects of its nuclear operations, including quarterly reports on our environmental, safety and operational performance. Much of our information is available on this web site or our Information Centre staff can mail out information to your home or business.

Alternatively, drop in for one of our regular community public meetings held with members of the public at both our Pickering and Darlington information centres on a regular basis. Call the info centre to find out upcoming meeting dates.
