Ottawa / St. Lawrence Plant Group

OPG's Ottawa/St. Lawrence Plant Group operates 10 generating stations, three control dams and several spillways on the St. Lawrence, Ottawa and Madawaska rivers in Eastern Ontario. Once important routes for exploration, fur trading and logging, these rivers are now a valued source of hydroelectric power and also serve many environmental, recreational and commercial purposes.
