[Pickering]: Ontario Power Generation's Pickering Unit 5 was safely shut down on Saturday, October 28, to perform maintenance on a transformer on the conventional side of the plant.

Pickering Units 6 and 8 are operating at or near full power. Unit 1, 4 and Unit 7 are also on maintenance outages.
