ONTARIO POWER GENERATION'S PICKERING B UNIT 5 BEGINS MAINTENANCE OUTAGE

[Pickering]: Today, Ontario Power Generation's Pickering B Unit 5 began a short maintenance outage to do work on one of the unit's low pressure turbines.

Units 4, 7 and 8 continue to operate at full reactor power; Unit 1 continues with commissioning and is expected to return to service shortly; and Unit 6 is progressing on its planned maintenance outage.
