[Pickering]: Ontario Power Generation's Pickering Unit 1 was safely shut down today to perform maintenance to the service water system.

Pickering 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are operating at or near 100 per cent, delivering over 2,500 MW of electricity to the Ontario electricity grid.
