[Pickering]: Ontario Power Generation's Pickering Unit 7 was safely shut down on Sunday, June 3 to begin a short outage that will involve inspections and maintenance on pump seals.

Pickering 1, 4, 6 and 8 are operating at or near 100 per cent, delivering over 2,000 MW of electricity to the Ontario electricity grid. Pickering 5 is currently in a planned outage.
