ONTARIO POWER GENERATION'S PICKERING UNIT 1 ENTERS SHORT MAINTENANCE OUTAGE

[Pickering]: Ontario Power Generation's Pickering Unit 1 was safely shut down on Saturday morning, July 22 for a short maintenance outage. During this outage inspections and maintenance work will be done on one of the Unit's reactor control systems.

Pickering Units 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are operating at or near full power.
