[Pickering]: Ontario Power Generation's Pickering Unit 5 was safely shut down on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 2 for a short outage to perform maintenance on the heat transport system.

Pickering Units 1, 6, and 8 are operating at or near full power. Units 4 and 7 are in planned maintenance outages.
