ONTARIO POWER GENERATION'S PICKERING UNIT 7 ENTERS MAINTENANCE OUTAGE

[Pickering]: Ontario Power Generation's Pickering Unit 7 was safely shut down on Sunday morning, August 27 to perform electric and cooling maintenance. Directly following this work, Unit 7 will proceed into its planned maintenance outage to improve the unit's reliability for the next three years.

Pickering Units 1, 4, 5, 6 and 8 are operating at or near full power.
