There are lots of shoes filled by OPG's employees. There are 11,000 jobs in the company and few are exactly the same. The diversity of work here means that there is a job that would likely interest you.
Engineers, who apply science to designing what we need to help us make electricity. We have chemical engineers, electrical engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers and more, all on staff. Maintenance workers, who keep our equipment in tip-top shape. Market traders, who work with numbers to make sure we return value to our shareholders, the people of Ontario. Accountants and bookkeepers to keep us balanced financially. Human resources people to fill our jobs with people who like to make a difference. Planners, who help make sure that our generating capacity will meet the province’s needs. Biologists to keep the environment around our generating plants green and beautiful. Project managers, who make sure our big endeavors are completed on time and within the budget.
