Making a difference
Ontario Power Generation puts its energy to good use as a responsible corporation and good neighbour. Our employees like giving back to the community, to the places they live and work. Many of them give money to the OPG's Charity Campaign which raises millions of dollars for almost 1,000 charities. OPG employees also donate their time and knowledge as volunteers.

OPG lends a helping hand
As a company, OPG is always looking to help out. Our Corporate Citizenship Program provides money and support to charities and not-for-profit causes that we feel are making a positive impact. We focus in three areas:
Environment: We contribute to a healthier environment by supporting initiatives that help out Mother Nature, that aim to reduce pollution, increase recycling and help people learn about the world around them. Education: We support the advancement of science, engineering, technology, business and the environment. Community Initiatives: We help improve the quality of life in our communities by supporting health and safety organizations, arts and cultural initiatives and humanitarian organizations.
