Nuclear Supplier Portal

Ontario Power Generation Inc. is introducing a supplier portal leveraging SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) technology to improve our collaboration with preferred suppliers. The supplier portal will initially be available to select Nuclear Suppliers with the intentions to expand across our fleet in the coming years.

The Supplier Portal enables the next generation of business partner collaboration by providing customized, partner-specific access to OPG’s supply chain systems through a secure internet connection.

Scope and Timeline
Phase 1 of the SRM initiative will be live by December 2007, with continued expansion in functionality through 2008. The initial OPG Supplier Portal functionality provides the following benefits to our business partners:

1) Operational Efficiencies – through electronic data exchange
2) Timely notification of OPG bid invitations
3) Enhanced collaboration – through electronic document sharing and Buyer inquiries

• Reduced bid processing time (no manual faxing required)
• Electronic notification of Supplier intension to bid
• Clear criteria for awarding business to successful proponent

• Reduced Buyer inquiries

• Eliminates phone calls and emails for shipment status
• Provides detail like PO, Line and Part Number information for shipments

• Provide valuable information to OPG and to our business partners which will allow for continued growth and collaboration
