Suppliers have a significant impact on operations and costs for Ontario Power Generation. Supplier and contractor relationships are key to OPG's success.

Ontario Power Generation Inc. operates nuclear, thermal and hydroelectric and wind power generating assets. Our Supply Chain organization is committed to developing strategic sourcing initiatives with preferred suppliers. We focus on developing and including capable suppliers who can meet our price, quality, delivery and service level requirements.

In business dealings with OPG, suppliers are expected to act with integrity, adhere to high standards of ethical behaviour and operate in the best interests of Ontario Power Generation.

Suppliers are also expected to not take any action that would cause OPG or any of its directors, officers, employees, agents or representatives to be in breach of any of the obligations set out in the Code of Business Conduct.

Ontario Power Generation Supply Chain manages strategic and high profile commodities and services on a global, regional, and /or local basis.

In addition to the commercial process, OPG Supply Chain manages systems, processes and procedures throughout the supply chain company wide. At Ontario Power Generation, the supply chain begins with our suppliers' suppliers and ends with our consumption.
