Pickering Nuclear in the Community
Pickering Nuclear Generating Station (GS) is located on the shores of Lake Ontario in the City of Pickering and has been a part of the community for over 35 years.
Being a part of the community means helping the community thrive, and Pickering Nuclear has been doing just that through support of over 225 not-for-profit initiatives and 235 local youth amateur sports initiatives in Pickering, Ajax and Whitby.
In recognition of our contributions to the community, Pickering Nuclear GS received the City of Pickering 2005 Civic Award. This award is given to Pickering businesses that are outstanding in support and participation of community activities.
