James F. Hankinson
President and Chief Executive Officer

James Hankinson was appointed to this position in May 2005. He has broad management experience in energy, transportation, resource and manufacturing-based businesses. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of New Brunswick Power Corporation from 1996 to 2002, and during that time, had a significant impact on improving the operational and financial position of the company.

In 1973, he joined Canadian Pacific Limited, and served as chief operating officer from 1990 to 1995. A chartered accountant, Mr. Hankinson has a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University, and an Honourary Doctor of Laws degree from Mount Allison University. He also sits on the boards of CAE Inc. and Maple Leaf Foods Inc.

Bruce Boland
Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs

Bruce Boland is Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). In this position, Bruce Boland is responsible for Public Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Strategy, and Information Technology. He also serves as Chair of OPG Ventures. Prior to 2005, he was Senior Vice President, Customer Solutions, responsible for OPG’s customer interactions. Mr. Boland also served as Senior Vice President, Energy Markets, from 2000 to 2001, and Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, from 1999 to 2000.

Mr. Boland joined Ontario Hydro, the predecessor company of OPG, in 1982. He holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, a BBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a Certified Management Accountant.

David Brennan
Senior Vice President, Law and General Counsel

David Brennan is Senior Vice President, Law and General Counsel at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Mr. Brennan joined OPG in September 2006 and is responsible for the daily operations of OPG’s in-house legal department, including selecting and supervising outside counsel, providing legal input on major transactions and ensuring that the legal staff is proactive and business-minded. This also includes developing a team of business law practitioners.

He has a LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1983 and the Ontario Bar in 1986.

Jim Burpee
Executive Vice President, Corporate Development

Jim Burpee is Executive Vice President, Corporate Development at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Mr. Burpee was appointed to his current position in November 2005 to provide oversight to major corporate strategic initiatives and to oversee OPG’s Energy Markets, Sustainable Development and Real Estate functions. From March 2004 until his current appointment, he was Senior Vice President, Energy Markets.

Born in Toronto, Mr. Burpee has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Pierre Charlebois
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Pierre Charlebois is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Mr. Charlebois was appointed to his current position in December 2006 and is responsible for the operation of OPG's nuclear, hydro and fossil businesses.

From December 2003 to November 2006, Mr. Charlebois served as Chief Nuclear Officer, responsible for overseeing OPG’s nuclear generation business and its performance.

Pierre Charlebois graduated from Ottawa University in 1975 with a bachelor's degree in Applied Science. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Janice Dunlop
Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Ethics Officer

Janice Dunlop is Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Ethics Officer at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Ms. Dunlop was appointed to her current position in March 2006. She is responsible for the development of human resource strategies that support OPG’s business goals, including enhanced employee engagement, employer of choice through recruiting, retention and succession planning and building successful relationships with OPG’s unions and partners. She is also responsible for strategies and programs supporting safety and employee wellness.

As Chief Ethics Officer, she is accountable for implementation of OPG’s Code of Business Conduct and for ensuring accessibility and responsiveness to employee concerns.

Ms. Dunlop holds certifications as a member of the Canadian Human Resources Professionals and has completed the Advanced Program in Human Resources. She is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Rotman Executive HR Program and a member of the Training and Development Advisory Committee for the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.

Donn Hanbidge
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Donn Hanbidge is Chief Financial Officer at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). He is responsible for providing financial leadership and operational support to OPG’s business units and directing the Company’s treasury operation and financing programs, corporate financial reporting, pension investment oversight, energy risk management, audit, taxation and certain supply chain functions.

Donn Hanbidge obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Accountant.

Catriona King
Vice President, Corporate Secretary

Catriona King is Vice President, Corporate Secretary for Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Ms. King was appointed to her current position in June 2005 and works with the Board Chair and the President and CEO on governance for OPG and its subsidiaries and on Shareholder and government relations. She also oversees the Executive Office.

Catriona King received a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in 1981 and did graduate studies at York University’s Faculty of Environmental Studies.

Tom Mitchell
Chief Nuclear Officer

Tom Mitchell is the Chief Nuclear Officer at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Tom Mitchell was appointed to his current position in December, 2006. Previously he held the position of Senior Vice President, Pickering ‘B’, responsible for the operation of the four Pickering ‘B’ units.

Tom Mitchell has over 29 years of nuclear experience. Before joining OPG, he held the position of Vice President of the Assistance Division of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) in Atlanta, Georgia. During his career at INPO, he managed the radiological protection, plant analysis and engineering support departments.

Tom Mitchell holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Cornell University.

John Murphy
Executive Vice President, Hydro

John Murphy is Executive Vice President, Hydro at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Mr. Murphy was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, Hydro in November 2005. Mr. Murphy’s hydro accountabilities include oversight of OPG’s fleet hydroelectric generating stations as well as the new hydroelectric business development portfolio.

Mr. Murphy oversees a range of capacity improvements to OPG’s hydroelectric fleet, as well as new developments like the Niagara Tunnel Project, which will add 1.6 billion kilowatt hours a year of clean, renewable energy by 2009.

John Murphy completed the Advanced Program in Human Resources Management at the University of Toronto and the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan. He is also a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).

Ken Nash
Senior Vice President, Nuclear Waste Management

Ken Nash is Senior Vice President, Nuclear Waste Management Division at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Ken Nash was appointed to his current position in June 2006. He reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for all aspects of nuclear waste management.

This includes licensing, environmental approvals, operation, engineering and construction activities at the Pickering Waste Management Facility, the Western Waste Management Facility and establishing a Waste Management facility at Darlington. Ken Nash is also responsible for the transportation of radioactive materials, lifecycle planning and development for long-term waste management including power plant decommissioning.

Ken Nash graduated from Salford University in 1974 with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.

Jim Twomey
Executive Vice President, Fossil

Jim Twomey is Executive Vice President, Fossil at Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG). Jim Twomey was appointed to his current position in November 2005 and is responsible for OPG’s fossil operations. Before his current appointment, he was Senior Vice President Electricity Production at OPG.

Jim Twomey is a member of the British Institute of Managers, the British Institute of Mechanical Engineers and holds degrees from Portsmouth University and University of North Staffordshire.
